I’m transitioning the other way (mtf) but good for you for sharing your narrative. Like you I struggled daily and felt old but yet couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. In school I had to wear what I was told but at home I wore what I wanted, including a semi-long hairstyle.

I think because I am intersex it wasn’t until puberty when I ‘really’ began to think I was supposed to be girl; even up until 10–13 years of age I looked very feminine.

Thankfully, testosterone didn’t completely destroy me the way it does for some. I’m early in transition but feel so much better!!!
