How to use StageWave

Hello this is Rodrigo from StageWave, it’s very exciting to present to you how to use StageWave, let’s go!
Before to use
First of all, you must to know that StageWave is a high performance App, so, is very important to take attention to this guide in order to have a good experience using the system.

You must be sure of:
1 . Each device must be connected to the same network.
2 . Desktop Computer must be connected to your router over ethernet wire, an external ethernet adapter may be necessary. Adapter could be Thunderbolt, USB 3.1 or USB 3.0. A CAT7 ethernet wire is recommended.
3 . Your computer’s WiFi must be turned off.
4 . Laptops must be connected to the power supply.
5 . You must set your WiFi router in the less interference channel. See how in this Guide from maketecheasier.com.
6 . Smartphones must be in Airplane mode with WiFi turned on. Bluetooth must be turned off.
7. Smartphones must be connected to the router using a 5GHz WiFi network (802.11ac).
8 . Smartphones location services must be turned off. For iOS devices this options is in: Settings -> privacy -> Localization.
9 . All other applications on the smartphones of the band members must be closed.
10 . Mobile devices shouldn’t be far of the WiFi router (no more than 20 meters, not less than 1 meter) and must be in LOS condition (line of sight), without obstacles between.
Once you have all above ready you can start using StageWave! I know there are many requirements but it’s worth it.
Connect your mixer or sound card
Before open StageWave desktop app be sure of your Digital Mixer or Audio Interface is connected. If the sound device is recognized by the operating system it can be used on StageWave.
If you are a Windows user, please download the ASIO driver from the manufacturer of your audio device (most of the time is included in the oficial driver). We had troubles with some Realtek built in sound cards, but external audio interfaces or mixers work like a charm ;).
Opening StageWave
Once you open StageWave you have two options:
1 . Enter Using the “Test Mode”: test mode has been created for test your gear in order to be sure that is able to run StageWave before make a purchase.
2 . Enter your StageWave credentials: You can create a StageWave account in https://stagewave.io/dashboard/#signup or enter with your Facebook or Google accounts. Inside the StageWave dashboard you can buy access for new devices. You can see our pricing table HERE.
We recommend have access to Internet in your router only when enter your credentials, then you can take out the Internet wire from your router. Credentials will be remember for future access even without Internet access.
A StageWave account can be used in only one desktop computer at the same time.
