Millennials are on the rise — no doubt about it. A well of talent within the US capable of driving innovation and ushering a new age of social & technological transformation. Some are meeting in the classroom, while others are building businesses right out of their living rooms. We recently caught up with two rising stars, Miles Banks and Raphael Freelander, who could very well change the face of education as we know it.

So Miles, tell us about your journey:

Throughout my entire life, I always had that entrepreneurial spirit, and strived to be the best at everything I do. As a kid, I was fortunate enough to have a dad that answered all my pestering little questions about everything under the sun. Whether it was at dinner, trips to the park or drives to practice, we were always exchanging perspectives on life. He even forced me to learn, understand and trade stocks. I realized early that I was intellectually curious. The fundamental questions of “Why are things done a certain way, and what would I do if it were me” often kept me thinking about change and the future.

Growing up, my “Alpha” and “must be #1” attitude led me to playing many sports until I stumbled on the grueling, but amazing sport of wrestling. Through wrestling, I learned the invaluable skills of utilizing discipline, and self-accountability to achieve my goals. As a wrestling team captain for two years, I found my passion for leadership, and inspiring people to do great things. Around 2017, I did some serious introspection and decided to do a 180 on who I was, which put me on a path of self-development. My journey steeped in discipline, leadership, and love for seeing people learn and accomplish their goals all, culminated with me starting a business in 2018 that embodied everything that I am, and everything that I want to do in the world. I always say “we’re all put on this Earth to see how big of an impact we can make,” and I know Learn Elite is my stamp on the world.

Ralph, you had a special relationship with your father, as well. Tell us how you got here:

Well I grew up in Springfield, MO where the entrepreneurial lifestyle is not seen as an option by many. The community revolves strongly around religion and fitting in with society. Luckily, I grew up seeing my father start businesses and invest in a variety of companies. I’ve always held the entrepreneurial spirit close to my heart, and even started a lawn mowing company when I was in middle school. This continued into many business as the opportunities presented themselves. I was so desperate to make money, that I even started up a trash pick-up service for local college neighborhoods when attending the University of Missouri- Columbia. I graduated in May 2018, magna cum laude with a degree in business management and a minor in entrepreneurship. Soon after graduation I moved to Florida and started up a real estate company with my mom. As a hungry entrepreneur, when Miles, a friend of my brother at that point pitched me the idea for what has turned into Learn Elite, I jumped head first into developing the business both of us had always dreamed to be a part of. I purchased and helped flip two properties during the summer with my real estate company, but a lot of my time was spent working on Learn Elite. Since then, we have focused everyday on growing Learn Elite to create as much value as we can for our clients.

Miles & Ralph, you both have mentioned Learn Elite, can you tell us more?

Learn Elite is changing the way we learn! When we created Learn Elite, we set out on a massive quest to change the way people receive information, and the education space as a whole. Everyone can see the many challenges with the traditional education system, and we are here to fix it. No longer will students spend $80,000 + to go to college, have to learn from teachers that have no practical experience on what they’re teaching, and then leave with a 25% chance of getting a job. Now, with the help of Learn Elite, people can learn high income skills, or anything at all from a person who is well known, credited, and successful in their space. Not to mention, students can now take a course in SMMA (for example) for $500, and make 5 figures in their first month, as opposed to spending 4 years, and almost $100,000 to get a job working 40 hours a week that pays them less than $50,000 a year. Learn Elite is helping people take control of their lives, work on their own time, follow their passions, and be their own boss.
