COMING TO AMERICA? TAG ’EM AND BAG ‘EM! NO MORE TERRORISTS!

Want to keep the bad guys out? Want to keep outsiders from becoming insiders who commit terrorist acts here in America? Want a simple answer? Want a better answer than all the nonsense you’ve been hearing from ersatz Presidential candidates flailing for TV time?

OK, here it is.

Let’s start with a truth: non-citizens being allowed into America is a privilege, not a right.

Now let’s say that another way: we don’t have to let in anyone if we don’t want to.

So the default position is, if you want to come to America, we make the rules, and we’ll decide how we decide whether we let you in or not.

First, no matter who you are, we’ll make you apply for a visa. Just having a passport from somewhere is not good enough because a passport doesn’t contain enough real proof about who you are and what you are up to. You are going to have to do better than that to earn your entry. So you are going to have to answer more than a few questions and provide more complete written proof as to identity, history, and intentions.

We want to know what’s in your heart and in your mind. And since that’s going to require us to have more Immigration and Homeland Security Agents to vet you, you are going to have pay a proportionate visa fee. I mean, why should our taxes go to pay for you to come visit us? Your visa fee is no different than you paying for your airline ticket, it’s a part of the cost of your travel. You will be subsidizing the costs we have to incur to determine whether we let you in or not. Heck, many outside countries charge visa fees to Americans who visit them, time we did it in spades. You want to come here, make it worth our while to let you in, and know your stay will not be open-ended.

As for the vetting, we can never be entirely sure about you. ISIS stole official government passport and ID-making machines from the Syrians. The Chinese will sell anyone a false ID, including perfect driver’s licenses for any US State of your choice. Far too many US Universities admit foreign students because their families and countries are willing to pay extortionate “out-of-state” tuition or make “donations”, and far too many of those never-interviewed, never-vetted students are then given ID numbers and even social security numbers so they can get into our country, and far too many of them come in and then never enroll in school, just disappearing inside America without us knowing who they really are or what they are plotting.

People cannot be trusted, not when they are taken at their wallets rather than their words, not when we cannot see into their souls. And paperwork and official documents can no longer be trusted. Nor could we ever trust pro forma, multiple choice questionnaires and yawning interviews, even though that’s all civil authorities have mostly ever relied upon.

Some years ago I hung out with a serial killer (after he was caught, mind you), and he used to roll his eyes and smile with incredulity at how gullible and trusting American authorities are. See, when he was young, he’d been rightly convicted for murdering his baby. He went to jail in Texas, conned his way to parole in a state supposedly known for its tough sentencing and relentless executions, and then he immediately violated parole by fleeing to California.

There he decided to become a serial killer, and his first step was to get a job working for the county, being in charge of police uniforms and gear. This allowed him to fake being a cop in order to snare unsuspecting female victims for what would become many many years of serial killing. The extra added (and intended) bonus was that the county warehouse where this monstrosity worked was on the same short block as county, city, and state trooper stations, so the killer could stand in his dock and look out delightedly at all the commotion he’d caused every time a new body was discovered and all the blues scrambled and sirened out to hunt the killer. He was the brobdingnagian shadow standing over the ant hill, pissing on it and watching all the little ants scramble, the irony being that they looked everywhere but up for the Wrathful Waldo in their midst.

How did a convicted murderer and parole violator get a county civil service job with law enforcement, you ask? Easy. On that part of the job app where it asks if you have mental illness, he checked “no”. And the part where it asks if you’ve ever been convicted of a felony, he checked that “no” as well.

Just like terrorists check “no” on passport and visa apps for the United States where it asks if you are plotting the overthrow of our government or any other terrorist act.

Yes, that is the current state of our vetting. So, we will increase the depth of our vetting. We can, we must, we will.

And then, when we think we are prepared to allow someone entry, we will bio-tag them, and we will charge them for that too.

What’s a bio-tag?

Visitor’s choice of simple hypodermic injection or nasal spray containing a biological, chemical tag that will allow extant, already-running FBI/Homeland Predator software to keep track of that visitor’s activities while “in country”, which will then alert authorities if the visitor shows a pattern that deviates from their stated reasons for being here or is otherwise concerning and needs a hurried looksee.

Why not just “chip” visitors, you ask?

Because chips can be removed (as you should know from Raymond Reddington).

But a bio-tag cannot. It seamlessly and harmlessly floods the tissue, the organs. It’s all through a visitor’s body, yet designed to expire and wash out of that person’s system over a set amount of time, so it is not permanent, no one tagged need fear it (unless they’re up to no good). Meanwhile, should someone try to overstay their welcome or trick the tag into washing out early, the tag’s signal will tell us when it is beginning to be cleared, and agents will visit the visitor to see to it that either tag renewal or immediate “hasta la bye bye” country exit takes place before expiration. Or, alternatively, let’s all revel and relax in the notion that a drone homing in on a bio-tag needs no margin for error and creates no collateral damage.

Folks, this is not the stuff of sci-fi, it’s real, it’s here, and visitors can queue up and pay for it through visa fees and tag fees.

Even better, we can award the bio-tag and advanced Predator programming contracts to pharmaceutical and tech companies that agree to produce those products in America and to reduce the costs of their “daily bread” prescription drugs for actual American citizens. So, the visitors will pay their fees for visas and bio-tags, and you will pay less for RX, and greedy Big Pharma will still make its profits without us adding US Federal regulations. Plus, the Big Pharma income will thereby increase from overseas to America, reducing our trade deficits.

This is a win and a win and a win and a win, for every American, from Average Jill and Joe to Capitalist Kingpin, dramatically reducing the budget of the Federal Government even while increasing the number of security jobs available.

Safety, security, profit.

The New Deal without actual Government tax spending. Your Government creating Main Street stimulus through moral and fiscal leadership rather than bail-outs.

Here then a quick bullet point re-cap of the justifications and efficacy of bio-tagging visitors to our fair shores:

1. If you ban an entire group of people because you cannot see into their hearts and minds to know which of them is bad and which of them is good, the bad ones will simply recruit folks from supposedly acceptable groups, and so bad folks will get in anyway. And if you get busy in-country patrolling groups which contain goods and bads, you cannot possibly afford the financial or spiritual costs, particularly since you would be following 100,000 (or more) good people for every maybe bad one. Only a bigot who already thinks all Muslins are bad would try to justify that approach. (Hello, Lyin’ Ted and Mein Drumpf.) Folks, we know we are afraid of terrorists coming in to America, but let’s find a real way to keep them out, whoever and whatever they are! The process we establish needs to be workable for all now and future terrorists, regardless of their crazy belief systems. Enemies change, but a successful America will always have enemies. We need to be ready for what comes, not always find ourselves surprised and a step behind.

2. American capitalism makes huge profits, here and abroad. Much of the balance of trade deficit is caused by American companies keeping their profits overseas. At the same time, these profitable companies count on the American taxpayer to cover the cost of the security needed for them to be in business in America, while they seem to have no problem paying their own security costs in other countries!

Meanwhile, the Federal budget and budget deficit needs to be decreased, every Average Jill and Joe knows this, every Average Jill and Joe feels it directly in their pocketbook and their encumbered, fretting lifestyle.

3. There is no taxpayer cost to the Federal Government charging fees to visitors which are then used directly to hire American citizens and American companies to provide security to protect us from the visitors via vetting and bio-tags and enhanced data collection and programmed analysis, and there is nothing wrong (but everything right) about requiring those companies to include prescription drug price reductions to American citizens as a threshold qualification to those companies bidding for the security contracts.

4. Bio-tagging is utterly unbiased. All visitors would be subject to it. It is a simple technological and necessary evolution of border controls that have existed since America was founded. It is Constitutional and it is right, and anything less or different is both weak and suspect.

5. A full-blown bio-tagging system could be up and running within less than 12 months, which includes time for final health studies, recruitment and training of security personnel, and Predator hardware/software upgrades. All the initial research and testing and manufacture is done. All we need do is encrypt and enhance bio-marker material which is already on the market and already being used in medicine and scientific study and US Defense projects. As we saw with the Ebola vaccines, it is now possible to create, perfect, mass produce, and distribute human biological vaccines, delivery systems and products in just a matter of weeks. You can absolutely count on a fierce competition between bio and tech companies to secure these contracts — there will be no paucity of bidders, the Fortune 500 will be well represented and the bids will be low.

6. If we do not avail ourselves of the easy, moral, and fiscally brilliant bio-tag solution for security and for prescription drug price reduction, opting instead to stampede for profoundly bigoted and certain-to-fail round-ups of masses of people — mostly good, a few bad — then we must look inside ourselves and ask “who are we really?”, even as Wrathful Waldo showers us with golden and uproarious desserts.

Nobel Prize-winning author William Faulkner was quite right that the atomic bomb would not be the end of man, but we now see that stupidity and disengagement will be. Has “the dumbing of America” truly led us to follow Lyin’ Ted and Mein Drumpf? Have we lost our resolve to fight beyond going to the ballot box to choose between evils (Republican and Democrat)? Do we really believe that either Bernie or Hillary are actually going to accomplish anything on their own or that they really even know what to do rather than what to say when the camera light flashes?

Folks, when are Americans going to start thinking for themselves again, rather than just complaining? Why don’t each of you have an idea for how to make America great again, why don’t each of you want to lead rather than just follow? Are any of you willing to miss sports or movies or TV or drinks or super size fries or prayer or sex to actually and actively participate in the day-to-day of learning and re-crafting and running our country?

Those questions will be answered later, as we have only just begun our “sorting chat”.

For today, let us begin by agreeing that bio-tagging is a great idea whose time has come. And don’t forget: it is entirely voluntary.

If you’re not an American and you want to enter America, you get tagged. And if you don’t want to get tagged, then stay home, wherever in the heck that is, certainly someplace I’m not planning to visit.

Please show your support for bio-tagging and remain tuned to this station as, together, we make sense of all the babble out there.
