Why Bio-Tag Them Before We Let Them In?
Visitor’s choice of simple hypodermic injection or nasal spray containing a biological, chemical tag that will allow extant, already-running FBI/Homeland Predator software to keep track of that visitor’s activities while “in country”, which will then alert authorities if the visitor shows a pattern that deviates from their stated reasons for being here or is otherwise concerning and needs a hurried looksee.
Why not just “chip” visitors, you ask?
Because chips can be removed (as you should know from Raymond Reddington).
But a bio-tag cannot. It seamlessly and harmlessly floods the tissue, the organs. It’s all through a visitor’s body, yet designed to expire and wash out of that person’s system over a set amount of time, so it is not permanent, no one tagged need fear it (unless they’re up to no good). Meanwhile, should someone try to overstay their welcome or trick the tag into washing out early, the tag’s signal will tell us when it is beginning to be cleared, and agents will visit the visitor to see to it that either tag renewal or immediate “hasta la bye bye” country exit takes place before expiration. Or, alternatively, let’s all revel and relax in the notion that a drone homing in on a bio-tag needs no margin for error and creates no collateral damage.
Folks, this is not the stuff of sci-fi, it’s real, it’s here, and visitors can queue up and pay for it through visa fees and tag fees.
Even better, we can award the bio-tag and advanced Predator programming contracts to pharmaceutical and tech companies that agree to produce those products in America and to reduce the costs of their “daily bread” prescription drugs for actual American citizens. So, the visitors will pay their fees for visas and bio-tags, and you will pay less for RX, and greedy Big Pharma will still make its profits without us adding US Federal regulations. Plus, the Big Pharma income will thereby increase from overseas to America, reducing our trade deficits.
This is a win and a win and a win and a win, for every American, from Average Jill and Joe to Capitalist Kingpin, dramatically reducing the budget of the Federal Government even while increasing the number of security jobs available.
Safety, security, profit.
The New Deal without actual Government tax spending. Your Government creating Main Street stimulus through moral and fiscal leadership rather than bail-outs.
Here then a quick bullet point re-cap of the justifications and efficacy of bio-tagging visitors to our fair shores:
1. If you ban an entire group of people because you cannot see into their hearts and minds to know which of them is bad and which of them is good, the bad ones will simply recruit folks from supposedly acceptable groups, and so bad folks will get in anyway. And if you get busy in-country patrolling groups which contain goods and bads, you cannot possibly afford the financial or spiritual costs, particularly since you would be following 100,000 (or more) good people for every maybe bad one. Only a bigot who already thinks all Muslins are bad would try to justify that approach. (Hello, Lyin’ Ted and Mein Drumpf.) Folks, we know we are afraid of terrorists coming in to America, but let’s find a real way to keep them out, whoever and whatever they are! The process we establish needs to be workable for all now and future terrorists, regardless of their crazy belief systems. Enemies change, but a successful America will always have enemies. We need to be ready for what comes, not always find ourselves surprised and a step behind.
2. American capitalism makes huge profits, here and abroad. Much of the balance of trade deficit is caused by American companies keeping their profits overseas. At the same time, these profitable companies count on the American taxpayer to cover the cost of the security needed for them to be in business in America, while they seem to have no problem paying their own security costs in other countries!
Meanwhile, the Federal budget and budget deficit needs to be decreased, every Average Jill and Joe knows this, every Average Jill and Joe feels it directly in their pocketbook and their encumbered, fretting lifestyle.
3. There is no taxpayer cost to the Federal Government charging fees to visitors which are then used directly to hire American citizens and American companies to provide security to protect us from the visitors via vetting and bio-tags and enhanced data collection and programmed analysis, and there is nothing wrong (but everything right) about requiring those companies to include prescription drug price reductions to American citizens as a threshold qualification to those companies bidding for the security contracts.
4. Bio-tagging is utterly unbiased. All visitors would be subject to it. It is a simple technological and necessary evolution of border controls that have existed since America was founded. It is Constitutional and it is right, and anything less or different is both weak and suspect.
5. A full-blown bio-tagging system could be up and running within less than 12 months, which includes time for final health studies, recruitment and training of security personnel, and Predator hardware/software upgrades. All the initial research and testing and manufacture is done. All we need do is encrypt and enhance bio-marker material which is already on the market and already being used in medicine and scientific study and US Defense projects. As we saw with the Ebola vaccines, it is now possible to create, perfect, mass produce, and distribute human biological vaccines, delivery systems and products in just a matter of weeks. You can absolutely count on a fierce competition between bio and tech companies to secure these contracts — there will be no paucity of bidders, the Fortune 500 will be well represented and the bids will be low.
6. If we do not avail ourselves of the easy, moral, and fiscally brilliant bio-tag solution for security and for prescription drug price reduction, opting instead to stampede for profoundly bigoted and certain-to-fail round-ups of masses of people — mostly good, a few bad — then we must look inside ourselves and ask “who are we really?”, even as Wrathful Waldo showers us with golden and uproarious desserts.
