Tsk, Tsk, Tsk…you should never underestimate whom your *Partners* are, what they do for a living, and what their educational/professional backgrounds are…they are NOT just servants doing a job for you! Some are unemployed Executives, Retail Managers out of work, Substitute Teachers waiting for hours in a classroom, law students with mounting debts, even Paralegals without enough billable hours…etc., these are intelligent people, capable of running your company better than your snot nosed, over-paid College Graduate IT kids, with no street credibility.

Uber has been a great resource to make a “GOOD” Paycheck …or…“EXTRA” money. However, Partners cannot even make a living wage by current stats today! Many have used Uber as merely an added income to their already existing value in life, some full-time as a career move, and they’ve enjoyed every minute of doing so; even when dealing with belligerent passengers, messy drunk people unable to navigate, even riders that leave us their trash behind. And remember, this is all in OUR vehicles, and on OUR time…the riders don’t pay for that, and neither does Uber. Time is lifes’ most precious commodity, it is the one thing nobody can give back to you…why disrespect someones Time, or devalue it…we as Partners, are providing too!?!

Also, up to today, many Partners were driving Full-Time...and let us not forget about those Partners that left unhappy, unrewarding, low-paying jobs to drive for Uber because it was so “Great!”. Some have even leased vehicles through Uber, and with their own integrity, enthusiasm, passion, and strong dedication with rock solid loyalty to Uber, they pushed forward making Uber Rich and a Global success…and now you go, and harm those values at the cost of the Partners, the ones that bring in the money, and grew Uber to the size it is today…where is their Value now?!?

Travis…you keep saying, your increasing our net by lowering the rates, but what you keep failing to tell the people (or I should say reporting, because we all know that’s why Uber was fined $7.6 million by the Utilities commission; for inadequate reporting): Tell them the truth….You’re giving Partners, more net *Riders* per hour, NOT INCOME, BUT WAIT…See…you’re also taking more: Increasing the mobile device fee from $10 to $15 per week(an additional $5 to Uber). Summoning an additional 5% in commissions per ride-raising it to 25% (additional 5% paid to Uber), and the most detrimental: by lowering the Mile rate from $1.85 to $0.90…decreasing the minimum ride costs, re-adjusting cancellation fees, and you also lowered the minute per mile from $0.30 to $0.10…and this is just for my Market alone, all the while, you are still getting yours!! To go from an average ride ticket of $12.00-$15.00 — down to — $2.60-$5.85, and then taking on a 65% Net increase of those type of rides…does NOT NET us Partners more income, just more to you, and added expenses for us, and don’t forget…it’s time, and labor for us too, also things you don’t pay for, instead you charge us.

More Net rides means a lower income at the lower rates that is costly; more fuel in cars, more time on the roads and less effectiveness for service and hospitality…therefore, the quality of service slips down. I’m sure the Environmental Protection Agency would love to see just how many extra cars are pushed onto our already congested roads, now burning twice the fuel. We cannot park, and wait, due to the classification of Commercial Vehicle; if the U placard is in the window…we become Commercial, and we are not allowed in public areas/parking lots. Thus, pushing us to keep driving around, and around…burning more, and more fuel, and also our valuable time waiting for those pings to summon us to do the job for Uber. So…NO more mis-treatment Travis, and if you deactivate Partners out of spite for pushing back for ethical reasoning…they should be able to sue for Retaliation, because see…that’s against the law too!!

Also, we see what’s going on! We know, you’re in trouble, that’s why you brought in a heavy hitter from Google, to try to asertain the full extent of the damage and get to work repairing it. So, before you make your next move, just know; We want Fair, we want Value, We want our money! And also just to put this out there…The Partners know…they know it all, even about the Million Dollar xX Party in Vegas this past October….They KNOW!!
