I can only imagine how much research goes into a design system for something like this.

I personally find it easy. I’ve been there as a new user and a returning user multiple times. I find in terms of way finding, placement seems on point at expected touch points of the journey. Iconography (for me) is clear and easy to understand. Both English and Chinese are prevalent. The metro maps are colour coded and in the two different languages. But it’s also where they’re placed that to me feels right on the whole user journey.
