Today we are going to talk about the possibility of an Apple event in October of 2023, and possibly a few new hardware announcements. Apple generally holds 4 events in a year during certain intervals. We’re going to talk about the October event, so let’s discuss about everything in brief today.
Are there any chances of an Apple event in October 2023?
Starting-off with what to expect, Apple generally launches new iPads, Macs for their fall event. But we don’t know whether there could be an event this year but if there is, then when can we expect it to be? There are no signs from Apple at a possible October event and to add to that doubt Mark Gurman from Bloomberg said that Apple does not have much products to host a standalone event in October.
Also Apple does not always hold an October event every year. But there are some possibilities to see at least one new iPad from Apple even though there are less chances of a standalone event, he stated that Apple could release then via a Press Release. So let’s talk about the new products to expect from Apple this fall.
What are some new products to expect?
There are some products that we could potentially expect from Apple if the event happens.
M3 iMac
The iMac is still using an M1 chip while all the other Mac products are using the successor of M1, the M2 chip. So there are chances of getting a new iMac with the M3 chip skipping the M2 version.
MacBook Air and 13-inch MackBook Pro with M3
If the M3 iMac becomes a reality there is a high chance of seeing an upgrade to the MacBook Air and the 13-inch MackBook Pro from the M2 chip to the M3 chip.
New iPads
There are also rumors about the possible launch of a few new iPad’s. Likely, the iPad mini 7th generation, a bigger iPad Pro possibly with a 14-inch massive display and a 10th generation cheaper iPad model. The cheaper iPad model if released could be the biggest release of the October event from Apple. It is expected to have a 10.5-inch display with redesigned slimmer bezels, a USB-C charging port and 5G capabilities.
Cheaper AirPods?
The AirPods lineup is expected to be added with a new model possibly a cheaper AirPods model. Whether if this arrives or not is not guaranteed at the moment, but if it really releases then it could be a huge success and a great present to gift to your children, grandparents, parents etc.
