Complete guide — How to deposit & borrow on Starlay
Today, we’re very excited to finally announce the release of Starlay!
This article will focus on how to use Starlay, how to connect Astar Network with MetaMask, and how to transfer tokens from Ethereum Mainnet to Astar Network.
This article will guide you through all your questions about trading on Starlay!!!

note: In this tutorial, please access it from a PC.
Starlay is not compatible with mobile devices yet, so please use it via PC.
Step 1. Add Astar Network to your Metamask and connect to Starlay
1. Install MetaMask to your Chrome browser.
2. Open MetaMask, and click the button below!
Then you can see “Add Network” at the bottom of the app, like this!
Click “Add Network”,and add these information!
Network Name : Astar Network
New RPC URL : https://rpc.astar.network:8545
Chain ID : 592
Currency Symbol : ASTR
Block Explorer URL : https://blockscout.com/astar
Now, your MetaMask wallet is ready to be used in Astar Network!
So let’s connect Astar Network from your Metamask.
Please click the “Connect” button at the top of the page.
If you see your address at the top of the page, the wallet is already connected!
Step2. How to prepare tokens for deposit
Once You complete the wallet set up, let’s move on to getting tokens for deposit!
There are several ways to get tokens such as buying at Exchange, but in this tutorial, I’ll instruct you how to get ASTR tokens with cBridge.
We have adopted cBridge as the bridge between Ethereum and Astar Network, and have partnered with them!
Now you can use Astar Network in Metamask. Then let’s bridge your tokens from Ethereum to Astar Network via cBridge!
1. Jump to cBridge page!
2. You can see cBridge top page, so please connect your wallet and enter your token like the below image!
note: The tokens that we currently support in the Ethereum network are wETH, wBTC, USDT, and USDC.
Then you can enter the amount you want to transfer, and enter the “Transfer” button.
Now you’re ready to trade!!!!
If you want to swap tokens to other tokens which are available on Starlay, you can swap easily via ArthSwap.
Step3. Deposit
All that is left is deposit! So let’s all go out Starlay and deposit!!!
1. Go to Starlay app
2. If your MetaMask has disconnected, please switch to Astar Network in MetaMask and click the “Connect” button! And don’t forget to allow Starlay to add a network.
3. Deposit
Select the currency you deposit.
Enter the amount you deposit.
Then press the “DEPOSIT” button, and you’re done!
Congratulations! Now your transaction is confirmed! There is no need to do anything further.
Once you make a deposit, you will be able to borrow!
If you want to farm on DEX platform such as ArthSwap, please refer to step 4, “How to Borrow”.
Step4. Borrow
You can borrow on Starlay, once you make a deposit!
Select the currency you borrow.
Enter the amount you borrow.
Then press the “BORROW” button, and you’re done!
Congratulations! Now your transaction is confirmed! There is no need to do anything further.
It’s all set! You must realize how easily you can use Starlay!
Once you borrow tokens, you can deposit on ArthSwap!!!
