Meet the Founders building a fully customizable portfolio app where creators can build networks, find inspiration, and seek opportunities
Today’s Startup Founders of the Day are Christine Nikolaou and Nefeli Kavvada, Co-Founders of Knoddo
Christine has a long track record and multi-functional experience in big organizations such as P&G and Diageo, where she currently serves as Global Head of Ecommerce Strategy & Performance. Christine studied architecture and also dances, plays music and paints.
Nefeli is a UX/UI designer, having worked with multiple big projects in agencies. She knows exactly what it takes to design and build products. Apart from being an accomplished 3D artist, she also enjoys painting, dancing and playing the piano.
Many of Christine and Nefeli’s friends and family are part of the creative community: from musicians, actors and painters to chefs and craftsmen. The Co-Founders came to realize that creatives have a harder time demonstrating their skills and accomplishments, compared with jobs that simply ask for a resume/CV.
The Co-Founders spoke with creators across the globe and realized they all have the same need: a platform allowing them to build their network and seek opportunities. Better yet– a place where they can also find inspiration and education.

Similarly, consumers who are looking for creative products and services need a central place to browse portfolios and receive suggestions. From this realization, Knoddo was born.
The two Co-Founders are surrounded by people who would benefit from this platform. As part of the creative community themselves, this is a real passion project for them. They are building from the community for the community.

Knoddo is a social media app with fully customizable portfolio-based profiles, where creators can connect and build networks and find job opportunities. The platform also gives creatives the ability to participate in Knoddo’s communities where they can find inspiration and education.

The estimated pool of creators & supporters is 330 million globally. This diverse community is made up of people of all ages and across geographies, financial and social statuses.
