ChatGPT just leveled up with GPT-4
The first version of GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) was introduced by OpenAI in 2018. This model was trained on a massive amount of text data from the internet using unsupervised learning, which means that it learned to generate human-like text without being explicitly told what to do. The model achieved state-of-the-art performance on a variety of language tasks, such as language translation, text completion, and question answering.
Since then, OpenAI has continued to develop and refine the GPT model, releasing subsequent versions with increased capabilities and improved performance. GPT-2, released in 2019, was even more powerful than the original model, but it was controversially not released in full due to concerns about the potential misuse of its text generation capabilities.
In 2020, OpenAI released GPT-3, which is currently the most advanced language model available. GPT-3 can generate human-like text on a wide range of topics and perform a variety of language tasks, such as translation, summarization, and even code generation. ChatGPT, as a variant of GPT-3, was developed specifically to engage in natural language conversations with humans.
As of November 2022 version 3.5.became widely available and is what’s currently being used by most users, but as of March 14th, 2023 we have GPT-4 technology which is currently…
