Introducing Startup Legal TV
We’re not your average attorneys
Startup Legal TV is committed to giving startups the legal answers they need to focus on their business. We’re all about embracing innovation to better serve small businesses.
To help tell our story, there’s someone we’d like you to meet.
Meet Pandji

Pandji (@andrew_pandji) used to work as a freelance designer. But after a while, he wanted to do more. He looked for a team that would make great design more accessible.
That team was Lumogram. Lumogram makes animated logos for small businesses.
(Pretty sweet, right?)
Where to start?
After hours of brainstorming and coding, the Lumogram crew eventually contacted us with a list of legal questions.
These questions brought their momentum to a halt. Questions like:
- Should this be a corporation, an LLC, or something else?
- Where should they register the business?
- What should they do to protect the business idea?
- Shouldn’t there be legal lingo on the website somewhere?
- What documents are they legally required to have?
We’d heard these questions plenty of times before. After our help, Lumogram got the answers they needed to refocus on their business.
Lumogram’s story is trending
Lumogram has been executing like crazy. They made a splash entrance in St. Louis withhttp://www.abcsofstlstartups.xyz/, a site that showed off their skill and commitment to local businesses. They swept the competition at an elevator pitch contest. They stole the show at MDMC 2016, the Midwest’s largest digital conference.
The best part? They haven’t lost momentum yet. As a startup, they can’t afford to let legal questions slow them down. They need to keep accelerating.
Lumogram’s story is awesome. And they’re not alone. It’s now easier than ever to create your own success.
But, like most areas of life, the law makes this difficult.
Pandji’s legal questions weren’t new to us. As startup lawyers, we’ve heard — and answered — these questions plenty of times. To be honest, more important are the questions that people don’t ask — those are the subtle but major issues that can cause real problems down the road.
