Established Is Hosting FOUR Startup of the Year Fast-track Online Pitch Competitions
Startup of the Year (powered by Established) is proud to help diverse, emerging startups, founding teams, and entrepreneurs push their company to the next level. During these challenging times, we are continuing to provide value to our startups and community, furthering growth and developing connections.
That is why, throughout the remainder of the year, we will be holding virtual pitch competitions in advance of the 2020 Startup of the Year competition at our 8th Annual Startup of the Year Summit, taking place virtually in the late fall.
Each of the online pitch competitions below provides a fast-track opportunity for the selected startups, with the winner from each event attaining a Top 100 Semifinalist spot at Summit, in addition to special mentor hours, prizes, and consideration for investment by Established Ventures:
- Established Celebrates Female Founders | Thursday, May 28

The May event allows us to recognize several female founder applicants and provide them with a way to elevate their pitch, gain exposure through our online community, and engage with industry experts.
Our esteemed panel of judges include: Jesse Draper of Halogen VC; Cheryl Campos from Republic; Eric Bahn of Hustle Fund; Phil Nadel of Forefront Venture Partners.
2. Established Honors U.S. Veteran Founders | Thursday, July 23

Earlier this year, Established announced our partnership with .US to honor the valuable efforts of U.S. Veterans and the Spouses/Dependents of U.S. Veterans through the .US Veteran Startup of the Year, a dedicated category within the overall 2020 competition with a $10K non-dilutive cash prize. The July 23 online pitch event will further support this effort. Five eligible startups will compete for a fast-track spot as a Summit Semifinalist.
