Why doesn’t BLM push to end the failed policies of the War on Drugs, which has been used to justify the militarization of police forces across the US. These are the systemically racist policies that create the current police brutality epidemic. This has had a terrible impact on all communities, but primarily the black communities. Let’s be smart about this, and focus our efforts on changing some policy that needs fixed. There are no policy solutions being offered by BLM, but this would no doubt have the most positive impact on the situation as a whole.
