First events of Startup Week Tallinn 2019 now published!
With Startup Week Tallinn 2019 a bit more than a month away, we are glad to announce the first batch of this year’s events. On its fourth year, Startup Week Tallinn continues to celebrate our lively startup ecosystem by joining together for a weeklong startup festival.
It’s time to publish the first events for this year's festival!
Future Founders track is focusing on events aimed to educate, empower our next generation and discuss innovation, trends in the education sector. This year, there are plenty of practical workshops from data mining, video editing, design and social media to programming, money laundering and testing out your first startup idea. The week will be kicked off in the office of Transferwise with a workshop on product building. More information on Future Founder track soon!
Tech Almighty — a track from #techies to #techies! We’ll start the week off with Starship Technologies who is inviting people to build a Star-ship & ML Meetup: Data Science Edition, which is going to be a movie night. Concise is hosting sessions on kubernetes and engineering. On Wednesday, Moosedog will have an event about patenting and Veriff is giving exclusive access and insights to building a top engineering team in hypergrowth start-up. Other cool events for this track include Kanban & Pizza Masterclass by Scoro, Building startups on AWS cloud by Cloudvisor and The value of IoT in manufacturing by Eliko. Get your tech on!

Networking nights, fireside chats, after hour sessions and other social events might change your life! Generation Green is all about sustainability. The track brings together the green revolution in the startup world and beyond. For example, can fashion be sustainable? You have a chance to do that at Roofit.solar open office tour by roofit.solar! Whether you are working in the field of a circular economy, clean tech, green or blue tech or other similar fields, join our ranks of generation green! More events will follow soon.
In 2019, we are piloting first-ever Deal Day for investors and startups that will test a new format for matchmaking meetings. With the organizing team, we will avoid the feeling of “speed-dating” and will focus on quality interest. Startups who apply will get a chance to meet investors from Estonia and neighboring countries. Startups can register here.
Estonian startup culture doesn’t only revolve around Tallinn. We have gathered innovative minds all over Estonia who are hosting events also in Tartu, Pärnu and Narva for our Satellites. You can find different events from all of our tracks — Generation Green, Tech Almighty, Future Founders and of course Community Connections. The registration for events opens on 21st of October on Eventbrite. More events will be added until the beginning of November. You can expect detailed blog posts about each track and more insights to Startup Week Tallinn 2019 in our blog up until the festival.
