If you want to learn some new tricks about how to boost up your startup from its very roots — you know, from the tech end of it then at Startup Week Tallinn 2019 we have a series of tech events at TECH ALMIGHTY track to give you a great opportunity to get insights from many successful startups, and share your own struggles and pursuits with them. That’s right, most of this year’s hosts love to hear your ideas as well. Some real quality information is going to be shared from techies to techies.

Tech Almighty is the track for serious tech junkies — for startupers, engineering teams, CEOs and CTOs who need some stuff to be done and want to know how others have done it, or approach the problem in general. Building a startup is never-ending hustle and our startup ecosystem can only win from the exchange of the exquisite ideas and experiences.

Just to give you the idea what is there waiting for you in this glorious tech track, one should be ready for lots of building. First, one can start with a knowledge How to Build a Startup Fast With No Money by Creditinfo, how to handle Building Startups on AWS cloud (Cloudvisor) or find out How to Build a Star-ship (read: sustainable company with inspiring culture) by example of Starship Technologies. Last but not least, every hardcore startuper should be ready to take the course on Building Top Team in a Hypergrowth Startup (as Veriff) — setting up the engineering team from scratch and scaling the business.

But, besides startup-building there are many other processes in every company that can take a good advantage of some tech and practical approach. For example, #kubernetes workshop with Mikk Soone by Concise gives you an idea how to build your first container deployment in k8s cluster. Moosedog holds a practical session on how to Get It Patented by bringing you tons of international experiences of building up, protecting and commercializing patent portfolios. And Scoro brings on the table the work hard, play hard idea by introducing the interactive Kanban Pizza Game at their Kanban & Pizza Masterclass.

Whether you are a CTO in the process of recruiting and training developers, or an entrepreneur, and if you are confused about going down the quality or quantity route when setting up your team, Mikaels Labs let’s you become more self-aware with their session of Balancing the Startup Developer Equation.

What’s the future of Tech like?

Tech is all around. We have FinTech, LegTech, MedTech, MindTech, EdTech, FaschTech, SafeTech, Green Tech, Blue Tech… you name it, also hi-tech, deep tech, big tech, small tech, well, even ex-tech and non-tech — so, tech is part of our thought and language system already. What else is it part of? Or what can avoid it in the future — that is probably much better question at this point.

To get the idea how different business areas are heading to the future, we suggest you to take part of KYC Optimization for Estonia — Coffee Talk where together with NJORD Law Firm, you will be exploring ways on how to simplify the process with tech solutions such as blockchain and/or amendments in the processes of the regulated entities and/or new services emerging on the market.

Sharing economy based platforms like Bolt revolutionized their market and now it is time for the legal industry. Hugo.legal is showing how on 13.11 at Ampsuke tulevikku — HUGO kutsub hommikusöögile!.

Event Serverless Applications in Fintech by Change Invest let’s you explore how to make “serverless” work for those of us that work in the Java/RDBMS/Spring dominant world of FinTech — using the more fun, cost-effective and no-ops approach of serverless architecture.

Masterclass The Value of IoT in Manufacturing by Eliko is set up for everyone who wants to understand Industrial IoT (IIoT) and gain suggestions on how companies can derive value from it and accelerate their digital transformation.

Tech never dies. Long live the tech!
