Try your best… but not stay in your fish bowl!

For me, a new definition for trying one’s best.

No limitation

A graduate student’s life is full of stuffs such as reading papers, having meetings, executing experiments and etc…… Thus, to use time well, to fully concentrate on the study and to doing the work efficiently and effectively is quite important. Otherwise, you can expect that the “traffic jam” would lie in your schedule. Maybe, someone else (especially, the one not in the very context!) may tell you “that’s ok. I mean you have tried your best!”. It can be right… or not! People always think that they have do their best while facing the challenges coming against them. Nevertheless, they just do their best while “underestimating” their own capability. How do one know his capability? Mostly, they would think of the timing that they are handling their work depending how much they pay for the it. Yeah, that’s it. Without a doubt, that’s what they (or we) have done. They think “capability” is static. They think it will never change. But how can you write character from A to Z? So, try to do your best on your work not considering the limitation. Maybe you really cannot finish it or complete it, but it is not possible you can never finish it.
