Why Go?

It’s all about runtime not about the language.

This list of user is usless. They are big pushers of microservices. How many of these thousands of services have been written in Go?

Good for infra team, not so much for those who read the code. So developer may choose Go because they are responsible for operations and they are on call.

Simpler than what? (It’s simpler that C because you don’t have to wory about memory management.)

PS: You can package your JVM togeher with an app. JetBrains did this to all IDEs for all kinds of platforms and languages.
