“Seven” is a psychological thriller released in 1995, directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Spacey. The film follows the story of two detectives, David Mills (Brad Pitt) and William Somerset (Morgan Freeman), who are tasked with tracking down a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as a motif in his murders.

From the opening credits to the final shot, “Seven” is a masterclass in tension and suspense. Fincher’s direction is meticulous, with every shot and every cut serving a purpose in building the atmosphere of dread and unease that permeates the entire movie. The use of a desaturated color palette and rain-soaked sets further adds to the film’s gloomy, foreboding tone.

The performances of the lead actors are also exceptional, with Pitt and Freeman delivering nuanced portrayals of their respective characters.
