The Stayabit Token Sale: Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

When will the Stayawhile Token Sale start?

The token sale will start on November 9, 2017 at 11 am EST.

Where and how will the token sale take place?

On the day of the sale, please visit token.stayawhile.com and click the Purchase button. You will be prompted to fill out some basic personal information and enter your wallet information. Assuming you pass KYC requirements, you will be granted access to the wallet address used to purchase tokens.

Is there a minimum or maximum of Stayawhile tokens I can buy during the general sale?

No, we will not be restricting purchase size.

What payment methods are accepted?

Tokens can be purchased using Ethereum.

How will the pricing and exchange rate be determined?

White Paper figures are based on an estimated exchange rate of 1 ETH : $300 USD. Due to frequent price fluctuations, the ETH exchange rate will be updated in real-time during the sale. 1 STAY has a relative price of $1 USD.

What will I need to participate in the sale?

If you are paying in Ethereum, you will need your ETH in an ERC-20 compatible wallet such as MyEtherWallet (recommended), Mist, Parity or the Metamask Chrome Plugin.

I sent from a wallet and I do not have the private key. Can I still get my tokens?

If this occurs, please contact tokensale@stayawhile.com as soon as possible. However, Stayawhile is not responsible for any delays, losses, costs, expenses, or other issues relating to or arising from the loss of your private key or any other access credentials

How many tokens are available in the sale and how many are being created in total?

There are 50,000,000 tokens being created in total, 27,500,000 of which will be made available for purchase as described above, 7,500,000 of which will be allocated to management team and consultants helping to run the sale, and 15,000,000 of which will remain in the company’s inventory under a lock up.

Are there any bonuses or discounts available for the sale?

Yes! The pricing model during the public sale will incentivize buyers who contribute at earlier stages.

Will there be a lock-up on tokens sold in the token sale?

No. Tokens sold are not subject to a lock up.

Will there be a lock-up on tokens retained by Stayawhile?

Yes. Tokens retained by the Stayawhile Team will vest over a 24 month period with a 6 month cliff. Tokens retained for future sale will be locked up on the blockchain until such a sale is announced.

Technical Questions

Can I submit BTC or ETH from an exchange account?

No. This is extremely important. Exchanges send funds via multiple wallets that are not fully in your control. In many cases, you do not own the private keys, and the process can take hours to clear. If sending ETH you are unable to add a payload. It is critical to use a wallet that you are in full control of.

Which wallets are compatible with STAY?

We aim to support the following wallets upon release:

  • MyEtherWallet (recommended)
  • Mist
  • Parity
  • Metamask Chrome Plugin

If you only have an exchange-based wallet (such as Coinbase), it’s extremely important that you either transfer your ether to one of the above wallet types, or possess the private key. If you do not, the Stayabit tokens sent to you will not appear.

Do I need to adjust my gas limit to purchase Stayabit tokens?

Yes. Token sale deposit transactions require a non-default gas limit because they are more complex than traditional Ethereum transfer transactions. To participate in our sale, you will need to fill in your transaction with the following detail:

  1. Address: given to you in your confirmation email
  2. Gas Limit: 25000

Where can I purchase ETH?

There are many exchanges that sell Ethereum for fiat or other cryptocurrency, these include:

  • Coinbase, Poloniex, Kraken, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, Bittrex, Cex.io

Please send your purchased ETH to a compatible wallet whose private keys you own and control, before sending to the token sale
