Recipe: Stir Fry Sauce

Try doubling or tripling this stir fry sauce and putting it in a jar for rainy days! This sauce it my go-to when I am unsure what to cook but I want to make something healthy like chicken and vegetables. This light sauce adds a sweet, smoky and spicy flavor — similar to a korean bbq flavor, to your dish without overpowering it. Try cooking up some chicken, bell pepper and broccoli and top it with this sauce, cashews and green onion served over white rice!
Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 3/4 teaspoon minced ginger
Directions:
- When your stir-fry vegetables are 90% cook, top with a 1/2 cup of this stir fry sauce
- Quickly stir the sauce and then turn the heat down until the sauce is at a low simmer
- Let the sauce simmer until it starts to thicken (3–5 minutes)
- That’s it. Enjoy!
