Zaid Ali is a Pakistani–Canadian social-media personality who owns the ‘YouTube’ channel ‘ZaidAliT.’ Zaid Ali is a You Tuber, Social media celebrity, Vlogger, comedian, and influencer. Zaid Ali was born on July 02, 1995, in Waterloo, Canada, then moved to Pakistan in early life. He later moved back to Canada and graduated from University of Waterloo in Business Studies. He is well-known for his comedy videos that portray the “desi” South Asian culture. He also makes videos that compare how “brown” and “white” people react to the same situation. Zaid has earned immense popularity across Canada, Pakistan, and India. He is a celebrity in Pakistan. Many of Zaid’s initial videos contained profane language. However, he has now turned toward making family-friendly videos. He owns two ‘YouTube’ channels, one for vlogging and the other for hosting his comedy videos. His ‘Twitter’ and ‘Instagram’ accounts have millions of subscribers.
Zaid Ali began his social-media career through ‘YouTube.’ He created his first ‘YouTube’ channel on March 7–2010 and began posting videos with titles like Your Profile Picture is Cute. His viewership and subscriptions boosted when he started to produce family friendly content and deleted all his vulgar videos. Most of his videos are based on the “desi” South Asian culture. He picks random situations and enacts them in a comical manner. He plays various characters in his videos. His portrayals of female characters have been the most loved by his fans. He often plays female characters by wearing a “dupatta” over his head, and this has become his trademark. Many of his initial videos contained profane language, yet they managed to earn significant viewership. However, he was not satisfied with his reach. In an attempt to increase his viewership, he began making family-friendly videos. This turned out to be a beneficial move, as it boosted the number of views on his channel. Zaid has now deleted all his videos that contained profanity. The first video he uploaded was named ‘Your Profile Picture is Cute.’ Eventually, he began creating more relatable videos, especially on the lives of “brown” people. In 2015, he posted the video ‘When you use a Bollywood dialogue in real life..,’ which made “Bollywood” actor Sonakshi Sinha “tweet” about it. Sonakshi’s “tweet” made the video viral, and Zaid’s popularity soared. His prank videos titled ‘PILLOW FIGHT PRANK!’ and ‘WEED PRANK GONE WRONG!’ have both earned over four million views and have made Zaid a popular “You Tuber.” To date, the most-watched video on his channel is FATHER’S DAY SURPRISE! which has over 4.7 million views.
In the digital world, where You Tubers making their way towards success and fame. Zaid Ali, comes in with the trend of making videos based on comparing desi and firangi families. Soon he started sharing the videos, he didn’t expect the craze for his videos and views he got. His main goal from the beginning was to let the world know the South Asian culture and believe it or not, he did it brilliantly. He’s one of the You Tubers who hasn’t been in the controversy or cursed in his videos to get fame. These kinds of videos undoubtedly made him the most popular You Tuber and fans loved it endlessly. As time passed on, his popularity reached another level that made him create another channel where he started vlogging and another one for comedy videos. There are such amazing videos, he also featured his mother in his videos and it was great to see them. He was rising like a phoenix, no one can stop him that’s the reason he also got an offer from Hollywood for a film, but he turned down because the script required a kissing scene. Zaid does not support getting intimate on-screen. Zaid is not just a You Tuber but a big star of this world and being the most influential one too. No doubt that the entire world loves Zaid Ali and he surely is creating a greater impact on the society and masses. His videos are relatable and realistic in the most comical way. He started off with very less followers but eventually he reached the number of desired followers and he is now in the top influencers list.
His You Tube boosted in 2015 after his viral video and since then the number has been increasing. He made his way in the digital world. He started off with 500 subscribers to 10,000 and then in 2022 he has 3.45M subscribers and this makes him on the top of all the others.
Followers on Facebook increased from 200 to 20,000 and so on now he is ranking on top on Facebook as well with the total of 5.43M followers this makes him the most followed individual on the digital forum.
