Twitter: How I use favourites

I see most Twitter users favouring left, right and centre. Which is all well and good, but I’m not entirely sure that’s how it’s meant to be used.

Twitter allows you to view your favourites, suggesting favouring a Tweet means you want to revisit that Tweet later on.

For example, somebody tweets a super funny meme which you want to show your girlfriend later on. Sure, she won’t understand it, but you’ll find it funny. Time to hit that favourite button allowing you to easily revisit said tweet.

In short, favourites, in my opinion, are like bookmarks, save them for a later date to reminisce.
