Redeemer Lutheran College Sportsfield Grandstand Pavilion
This project includes a standard Steel Post & Rail 5 tier Grandstand accompanied by a wave roof shade structure.
These were made using Steel Post & Rail’s standard design, including all hot dip galvanised steelwork for optimal longevity. This project is accompanied by the barbeque and food service area which we previously manufactured and installed. The finished Grandstand provides comfortable spectator seating for sports days and other school events with spectators being fully protected from the elements utilising the custom Wave Roof shade structure.
Prior to development of this site, the space was useful for seating of spectators, however the flat grass surface was not ideal for vision and wasn’t sheltered from the elements. The covered grandstand and tiered seating now provides spectators with superior vision of the Oval as well as being a more comfortable shade area for long periods of time. The roofline was designed so that, in the future, the shade structure can be extended to add more shade area.
The integration of the barbeque area in close proximity to the covered Grandstand with tiered seating facilitates a great atmosphere for sports days with the advantage of having everyone seated together. The stainless steel food preparation table is accompanied by a Christie’s Parksafe Barbeque.
All Steel Post & Rail products are 100% Australian manufactured using only Australian-made steel. Our standard designs use steel framing, which is hot dip galvanised after fabrication, rather than using off-the-shelf pre-galvanised steel. For the same price, our customers get a greater durability and better looking finished product, with peace of mind that it is also 100% Australian made.
