In Arundel, West Sussex, England, there is a medieval castle that has been renovated. It was started under Edward the Confessor’s rule and finished under Roger de Montgomery. The castle served as the home of the Counts of Arundel and the Dukes of Norfolk beginning in the 11th century. It is a protected building of grade I. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert spent three days at Arundel Castle in 1846. The castle was renovated by Henry Howard, the 13th Duke of Norfolk, in preparation for her visit to an architectural office. Martin Duncan, the head gardener, and his team made considerable modifications to the expansive gardens by the beginning of 2020. Duncan, a horticulturist and landscape architect, has been employed at the Castle since 2009 and was awarded the Kew Guild gold in 2018. Volunteers and gardeners did wonders with their daring and creative plantings. Arundel Castle, the second largest castle in England, is located on magnificent grounds overlooking the River Arun. It also boasts a number of enigmatic reports of ghosts and apparitions over the decades. Due to this, the ghosts of Arundel Castle are a well-liked tourist attraction. According to reports, there are at least 7 phantoms that have been sighted inside and around the castle.
