Philip Henry Christopher Jackson (born 18 April 1944) is a Scottish sculptor who is known for his modern, form-oriented approach. His sculptures, which he created as a Royal Sculptor for Queen Elizabeth II, can be found in various places in the United Kingdom, as well as Argentina and Switzerland. In May 2007, a 6-foot-tall bronze statue of Bobby Moore was unveiled outside the main entrance of the new Wembley Stadium to honor his contribution to the game.Philip Jackson is a Scottish artist who studied at the Farnham School of Art. He worked as a press photographer for a year after graduating from high school and then as a sculptor for a design firm. He devotes half of his time to commissions and the other half to gallery sculpture. Young Mozart in Chelsea and the Jersey Liberation sculpture are two of his most well-known outdoor works. Jacob Epstein, Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, Oscar Nemon, and Kenneth Armitage were among his sources of inspiration. His wife Jean and his son Jamie, who works with him, are the most powerful influences in his life.His sculptures are mostly impressionistic depictions of the human figure. The texture of the figure where it appears to be growing from the ground resembles tree bark, rock, or lava flow. The finish of the sculpture grows softer and more carefully made as the eye climbs upwards, culminating in the hands and mask, which are both accurately observed and recreated.On the Queen’s…
