Pilau rice is a fragrant and sumptuous dish that is also really simple to prepare. This pilau rice recipe takes less than 30 minutes to prepare, allowing you to make the perfect dish for a finicky eater. Pilau rice (also known as pilaf, pulao, or pollo) is far more intriguing than ordinary boiled rice. It’s a fantastic addition to all kinds of savoury dishes, spicy or not, and it’s spiced with cardamom, cumin, turmeric, cinnamon, and bay leaves. There are many varieties on these excellent rice dishes, which have a lengthy history and are venerable across Asia, from Turkey to Bangladesh.Pilau rice recipes can include meat or vegetables to make a complete dinner, or they can be served as a simple side dish, with the spicing and brilliant yellow colour adding intrigue and flavour. Use Basmati rice, which is considerably more tasty than regular long grain rice, for a better result. Brown rice is also excellent, although it takes longer to cook.
