Romania is noted for having numerous stunning castles in Transylvania, with Corvin Castle being one of the most exquisite and amazing. The castle is located in the small town of Hunedoara, west of the country’s center, and is also known as Hunyad Castle or Corvin Castle. What makes Corvin Castle so intriguing is that it appears just like the castles you see in fairy tales and fantasy stories. It enchants those who venture to visit it from every angle.

Corvin Castle is located in the center of Hunedoara county, in the city of the same name. It is regarded the largest medieval structure in Southeast Europe and the castle where Vlad epeș, the renowned Wallachian prince, was inspired, an inspiration for an even more famous character, Dracula.

During his reign, Iancu de Hunedoara and his wife, Elisabeta Szilágyi, developed the fortress into a feudal castle, worthy of their rank.The building consists of the Knights’ Hall, the Diet Hall, the Spiral Staircase and a large inner courtyard. Access to the building is on a suspension bridge.
