Taking the guessing part out of Marketing once and for all…

Niklas, since you´ve got my full attention with your awesome startup, I started to think about why. For me, as a long time B2B Marketer that has moved from the “old-school” marketing world, into the refreshing awakening of how modern marketing works — this is amazing.

It is because of many reasons, but the one striking first and hardest, is the fact that future Marketers can eliminate one big failing part out of their work — the guessing part. The part of work that are built on assumptions. Cause that is exactly where it all starts and that is why most of our marketing efforts misses to goal completely.

Here is my brief take away on why data is the answer to unlock the holy grail of marketing success. In the past, Marketers with large media budgets was the ones set up for succeeding. Well, you had to be a creative and smart marketer even back then, but if you didn´t have the power to push, a lot of ads, you had no chance, at all. Now, the successful brands realize the most valued asset is your own audience. They are your marketing, they are the ones who decides wheter you´re gonna make it or not. If you dream big enough, if they buy into to that vision of what you´re trying to achieve, then you understand how modern marketing actually works. No ad-dollars in the world can make that happen, but you can! If you know how to do it.

That is where data comes along as your guardian angel. The answers on who to engage and how is key and a missing point for most marketers. Could you imagine saying — data is the answer of your prayers back in the early 2000s?

I would never ever even had guessed that. Data was ugly, actual behavior was something you assumed you knew (guessing), or maybe could be read out in some kind of customer survey.

Times changes and so do the proffesion of being a marketer.

With a mindset of being a publisher, driven by data and smart technology we will se a uprising of the new marketer as a Growth Builder!
