Before that, Stefano steered for 10 years the Digital and Future of Work solution within EY Consulting, where he was responsible for wavespace Italy: innovative and collaborative hubs for transformative experience design.

He spent the last 15+ years working with large and international organizations in highly demanding environments where he led and managed projects on digital and cultural transformation, HR transformation, organizational design, talent management, open innovation, change management, analytics, data culture, digital adoption, and social collaboration.

On top of his professional activities as a consultant, he is also a professor for diverse business schools and universities about using social and digital media to heighten business outcomes. He has also published articles and papers for several business magazines (including Harvard Business Review) and four books devoted to gamification, digital transformation, collaboration, and the future of work. Stefano has a master’s degree in long-life education, and a bachelor’s in learning processes achieved with a thesis on using social networks within companies to generate significant learning (awarded by Telecom Italia as one of the most innovative Italian projects). He has also been a visiting student at UCLA. Stefano also has a second bachelor in psychology and neuroscience. He has a Ph.D. in Psychology on transformative experiences to study the impact of networked flow on innovation.
