Why Most People Will Remain in Mediocrity

Everyone can be above average, if only they try hard enough. Right.

We might hate the bell curve, but it is reality. Few of us are ever going to find our way out to the far right-hand tail. We should be thankful that at least we don’t end up on the far left-hand tail; there but for the grace of God go I.

Rather than being anxious about how we stack up against others and where we fall on the bell curve, may I make this humble suggestion: Just dedicate yourself toward trying to become the best that you can be. Is there really a better way to live?
