Pardon my ignorance, but that makes no sense. How can you consider yourself a professional in any field of work if you don’t even have a simple contract?
If anyone’s wondering why people out there still don’t take e-sports seriously — here’s a good reason. Doesn’t matter if the organization grows by the minute and the prize pools become astronomical — as long as things are not regulated, it’s just kids playing games.
That said, I’m glad you’ve found a good home in DC. I hope more organizations follow suite, so that we can finally talk about professional DotA.
