You’re dreaming. Native apps are NEVER going to go because that’s the most optimised you can do. Web apps on the other hand RELY ON NATIVE CODE. Which means that whatever you do, it will suck more battery and CPU, because IT RELIES ON NATIVE CODE ALREADY. This is PLAIN BS. We have a global warming problem already. The last thing we need is 2 billion devices sucking more energy. Seriously. And the whole “it’s supported by Google so it will prevail”. Seriously. When did you started working in that business? Last year? If Google believes so much in JS on mobile, why do you think they are restricing it in AMP? Because it works so well? And the “build once, deploy everywhere” promise have failed for like 10 or 15 years. So many people have tried it. Yes, people will still build for Apple or Android. Because the target audience is so huge and companies have so much to spend they don’t care about reducing their dev teams size. It. Doesn’t. Matter. And if does matter, you’re working in shit businesses who have no money. Wake up dude.
