Since as a writer, we are used to writing with the POV which we think that a reader has, we sort of miss out on the real and working perspective. Nowadays, the tone of a common man works a lot well within the marketing niche rather than one that speaks Shakespeare-ish parlance (prolly like this one). And if the target circle is full of swanky people then the principle we need to stick to is ‘write like you talk.’ And mainly, if you title your write up as slightly diverged from the type of title they are trained reading, you will lose them right there. Even before they start reading your article they will lose their marble and swipe for the next piece (don’t forget, you are not the only writer).
