It isn’t only about learning to cut off the mistakes that others had done. Few other insights are worth reading and knowing (about how a serial killer is the most hurt inside) which comes to us only when we read through line after line and realise that emotions are the expensive asset of humans. Which we don’t see as one that is necessary even. There are many things we could imbibe from books, the future of technology, pre-historic culture of mesopotamians and so on. As far as your point of view is considered, the learning is “explore and experience” which is the other effective form of learning too. But lets adapt to mixed styles of learning…
