Nope, not gross at all.

It’s been so long since the last time I wrote about ‘love’.

Perhaps, I possess a really nice habit (just this one) at present, that every other day, late in the evening I publish one thoughtful quote on Instagram. This pretty much refashioned the way I’ve been dealing with my existential crisis before and how I handle it now.

Every time I allocate some time to sit and muse about my next lesson to preach to this world, droves of stuff come to my mind. Out of which the conventional ones are love, affection, attraction (it’s commonly called libido or simply as lust within the romantic bubble), optimism, thrashing stereotypes, hustling, etc, etc, etc.

What else is there to know about love when we all feel it constantly in our day-to-day life?

That it’s organic and can happen for anyone with anyone or anything. It’s quite a mystical play of emotions.

The reason why Nora Roberts said,

What I think Objectum Sexuality is,

People who have stronger feelings for inanimate objects are called objectophiles. Some of who believe in animism, which is an assumption that inanimate objects have soul, emotions, and feelings.

Objectum Sexuality on Wiki,

“Object sexuality or objectophilia is a form of sexuality focused on particular inanimate objects. Those individuals with this expressed preference may feel strong feelings of attraction, love, and commitment to certain items or structures of their fixation.”

The first ever strongest expression of objectum sexuality happened when Erika married the Eiffel Tower. Now she calls herself as Erika Eiffel.

If you’re thinking that humans who fall hard for gorgeous dolls and soul free objects as the psychotics, you need to watch this gripping documentary, to gain some high-level epiphany.

Unlike usual sexual fetishism, the inanimate objects are considered as the equal partners rather than objects used to enhance sexual behavior.

Married To The Eiffel Tower

There are several reasons why humans will love robots in the future.

Mainly because,

  • Humans will barely meet each other
  • Bots will gratify us quicker than humans
  • Will always be available
  • Will be upgraded with even more alluring voices
  • They will always keep intentions and conversations straight
  • Will never be gender maniacs (hetero, homo, bi, trans…they don’t really care)

This thread on @Reddit is solely dedicated to OS — /r/WTF — Objectum Sexuality

The objectophiles usually face extreme withdrawal when separated from objects they instantly feel attracted to. And in extreme cases, the objectophiles feel horror when integrating with their peer group. As they experience enough tranquility with inanimate objects.

Looking at this sort of love life from Freudian perspective might appear more inclined to sexuality. But observing it from different prisms might expound its association with philosophical, spiritual, and ideological space.

Sometimes, there are chances where an object symbolizes a memory.

Let’s say, a monument can remind someone their age-old break up story. When it happens, all their emotions are triggered and the exact symptoms start accumulating in the corner.

But the results procured from various surveys bring an interesting fact to the table. That this detachment usually stems from the fear of rejection — scopophobia. Such as individuals who have had issues coping up with rejection or is feeling extreme lonesome.

Another real-life story:

Like this one man, obviously suffering from OCD, who admitted that he was ‘best friends’ with his computer. He would wake up in the middle of the night to make sure that no one was fidgeting with it or intruding on his space.

“These cases are few and far in between, but are an indicator of our increasingly fragmented and unsocial setup,” explains Hingorrany.

Hope you now get the drift of Objectum Sexuality and the reasons why they crop up in the first place.

Let’s save and respect everybody, regardless of their sexual preference and lifestyle.

Cheers.
