STELSI, a metaverse architecture platform, and jpa. from Junglim Architecture announced on November 10th that they’ve signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish an NFT lifestyle platform for city, architecture, and spatial design. According to the agreement, both parties aim to jointly develop innovative spatial planning and sustainable urban architectural design solutions, emphasizing blockchain technology and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) responsibility. Their first collaborative project, slated for the first half of 2024, aims to connect the real and virtual worlds through the innovative ‘Promise Complex’ project via the STELSI metaverse platform. This project within the metaverse space is anticipated to provide visitors with new experiences by integrating faith and art into spatial branding.

jpa., a new branch of Junglim Architecture, a prominent company in South Korea for 56 years, will act as a “Space Planning Advisory” as part of a ‘Company in company’ initiative. It aims to provide integrated spatial planning solutions and consulting services. Over the entire lifecycle of the project, jpa. will establish consistent strategies, utilizing a wide range of expertise in areas such as analysis, operations, content/merchandising strategies, and innovative design through extensive knowledge and new perspectives in big data mining. This collaboration is expected to play a significant role in the rapidly evolving field of architecture, providing innovative designs, excellent customer experiences, and optimal spatial planning and branding.

Ryan Sang-hoon Shim, CEO of STELSI, highlighted that the ‘Promise Complex’ project requires a harmonious design that combines various elements, merging considerations in architectural design with the essence of religious beliefs. Junglim Architecture boasts a strong portfolio in South Korea’s religious and memorial architecture, particularly excelling in church architecture. This partnership between STELSI and Junglim Architecture jpa. is set to strengthen collaboration across various fields. He emphasized that this partnership is a significant step towards exploring the future of the architectural industry and is expected to lead the roles of blockchain and ESG in the architectural field through collaborative efforts.
