Isaiah 41:10

The verses that I choose to explain or further analyze are usually those, which intrigue me. Today I chose “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” The bible is very difficult to understand, and the most important verses may be interpreted in many different ways. Throughout the past few days I have decided to analyze the verses that I believe stand out to me and allow for me to become and grow into a better person. The first thing that the Lord wants us to understand in this verse is that He doesn’t want us to be afraid. Many have said that there are 365 “fear nots” within the bible, one for every day of the year. The Lord has plans for our lives and has created a path for us as mentioned in Jeremiah 29:11, but the God of all evil, Satan, does as well John 10:10. God is trying to explain to us that while believing and putting our faith in him we are opening the door to His plans and purposes for us, on the other hand when we are fearful we are opening the door to Satan. If we are able to keep this in mind, when adversity hits us, which it will, we will be able to stray away from being fearful. I wanted to keep this post short, in order to get to the point, and to be honest there is no reason to be fearful when we know that God is with us each day. He has created a path for each of us, and it isn’t always what we expect it to be and sometimes it can be very difficult to understand or cope with but we must keep in mind that he will shortly open another door for us leading us to something new and exciting. I hope that everyone at one point comes to terms with the path that they have been lucky enough to be given, and decides to become the best person that they can be.
