Early on they were members of the Queen’s Rangers in the Colonies. They were well know to be the most able of the guerrilla ware fare operations portion of the Rangers. During the Revolutionary War they dispersed * escaped/ hid * in the mountains of the south east. Those that did not were released by the Treaty of Paris and ended up in Nova Scotia and Queensbury, New Brunswick on land grants.
