The crimes against dopamine

On protein folding: ( my opinion ) DNA wrapping in the nucleus decides what protein molecular structure is presented. DNA wrapping can be influenced by epigenetic modification. (examples hypermethylation, histone modification, mRNA expression and viral vectoring ). The expressed protein can fail depending on where the modifications exist. The lists of proteins and their associations, along with their possible modifications give us models with so many variables ( and more that haven’t been discovered ) that the list of permutations approaches infinity. Maybe in the future with improved computational ability we could begin to form a hypothesis. Until then we are not even blind men and an elephant.
