Once again, U.S. policy in Syria is being presented piecemeal in press statements without any definition of success, let alone a realistic plan to achieve it.
Syria has been a mess since T E Lawrence departed in 1919. There is no solution. There is no success possible. Almost 100 years later and nothing has really changed. Innocent people just trying to live there lives and not just survive. Now the ground water has all but dried up and infrastructure is constantly being destroyed. There are no winners in Syria, and any outside agency will only add fuel to the fires no matter what “side” they pick.
