The Body Electric
Mike Essig

This is why poetry will not go away on medium. Poetry is like abstract art . It relies on the readers interaction for meaning. Prose tries to tell a story by directing conscientiousness to elicit emotion while poetry calls on emotional attention directly without all the frills. I notice that poetry takes longer to process. A very short read makes me recall memories I have lost in the matrix. It hits a signpost in the distributed network roadway and I recognize suddenly where I am again. Like being lost and suddenly seeing what I’m only looking at. thx for this one.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
