Soothing the Self-Doubt and the What-ifs
You don’t want your sense of perception or mind (or consciousness) to lead you astray because then you wont get what you want and need to get done done and you can procrastinate, get confused and feel bad about it. This can lead to overwhelm and low self-esteem which in turn builds up and manifests as a healthy dose of stress, overwhelm or anxiety. When we have ventured down this rabbit-hole of insecurity, there is the continual second-guessing going on upstairs, which allows Doubt and What-if to rule the decisions on how you think and feel through the day and week!
Instead, you do want to be clear and focused, aligned with your purpose and able to create change because you get to do what you have set out to do and feel freer doing it. You’re removing the self-sabotage and happiness and joy is on the horizon and being felt. OK, you still need to get involved, I’m not talking of sitting back and allowing all that is good to just happen on its own, but I think you’d agree it is always best done from this space.
I heard recently an alternative to a story I had first heard years ago but this newer one stood out as a better way to make a point. Here is the “hands in water perception” story.
