Well said. I link pragmaticiam to ideal of C. S. Peirce and believe that in all the work of Obama this understanding has been exemlified. I disagree with some of his decisions — including his ideas regarding killing, transparency and leaks. But I think he has been consistent and in view of the GOP he has been rendered vastly more challenged than has been acknowledged. Drop by NYC sometime and we can discuss this over whatever. Cheers, S
