I have one criticism — your definition is of “neurotypical/NT” is incomplete and incorrect. That’s because there are lots of neurodivergent people who are not autistic. Dyslexia, Down syndrome, etc are all neurodivergent populations. I have a complicated set of disabilities/differences that fall under the diagnosis of “nonverbal learning disability” as a result of having developed hydrocephalus as an infant.
I’m curious — did you develop that definition because of an assumption you made or did someone at the event actually define it that way?
