It’s Getting Harder and Harder to Deny That Football Is Doomed

I think one of the sides that isn’t talked about with the popularity of football is in many low income communities — sports, particularly football, is seen as a way out. This maintains a wide interest in the sport regardless of personal risk. Just look at so many of those inspirational football movies, Blindside for example. Football is shown as a savior. Is that right or true? Im not so sure, but I do think it links to some of the other issues this country is currently facing that go well beyond concussions and player safety.
