I think there is a false conclusion in the article I just read

by James Turner

Want to find your best ideas? Ditch the brainstorm.

The false conclusion is

Creative equals useful, desirable, beneficial, and so on.

Example:

I live on a Puget Sound, WA, USA island, named Whidbey Island. (Look it up. It is real.) It is covered with trees. We are experiencing a heat wave. (Perhaps a sign of our planet overheating.)

For entertainment, I could go outside my door where our house is surrounded by trees, strike a match, and throw it into the forest.

Creative? Maybe

Good idea? You tell me.

I have a creative idea. Let me know if you are on board with me. On December 31, 2018, the last day of next year (when my 73 year old body may no longer be alive), observe, wherever you are, 24 hours of Homo sapiens silence. Start with 1 second of silence on January 1, 2018. I read all my email. I do not spam you in return. Don’t believe me. stephenkahn@yahoo.com if you agree and want to encourage me.
