How ancient crops could counteract climate change effects
Steve Gillman

I wholeheartedly agree with your article about food diversity as necessary for our species to survive. Although there are different approaches to farming and horticulture, at some point weeding becomes necessary.

At some point in working for Homo sapiens survival, gentle weeding is also vital. There are 7.5 billion humans. The elephant in the room is that there is hardly room left for elephants in our ecosphere.

We don’t want industrial farming and we don’t want war, genocide, or even mass murder. I do suspect the organic approach to the problem of human overpopulation is to meme the idea lots of safe sex is fine for entertainment purposes, but birthing more than two children is tacky and likely to get you ostracized and shunned. Whisper in the ear of your Catholic neighbors that the Pope uses a condom and probably only mates with other priests.
