A Self-Driving Car Might Decide You Should Die

Science fiction comes true.

I grew up reading stories about stuff like this. (I am now 70.) Although I am now in good health, I know I will die. I am sure there is no deus ex machina (God). Even though I know that I will die as an individual, it is more difficult for us to accept that 1) our species may become extinct (global warming, “6th Extinction” and so on and 2) we may evolve ourselves out of being (Singularity Theory, etc.) Self driving cars will come, will create chaos and terror and may benefit, but being run down by a self driving car is the least of our worries and thrills. Welcome to Mars. Or, whatever.
