Telling a good story is everything

Great article. At one point a few years back, while working on 3 immense projects concurrently, my micromanaging old self just… snapped. I found that my most effective role was in holding a master narrative. Each interaction, whether with an engineer, designer, technician or executive, was then focused on helping them see their role in the narrative — rather than on forcing my vision on their work.
